Terms of Service

RoleWinner is an automated job-matching platform that uses artificial intelligence to scan job postings, score them against a user's profile and criteria, and generate tailored resume documents for qualifying matches. The Service delivers these outputs to a user's dashboard and via email notification.

The Service includes:

• Daily automated scanning of third-party job boards and sources
• AI-powered job scoring and matching against user-defined criteria
• AI-assisted resume tailoring for qualifying matches
• Dashboard and email delivery of matched jobs and associated documents
• Account management and subscription features

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.1 Free Trial

New accounts receive a limited free trial consisting of three (3) tailored job matches at no charge. A valid payment method is required at signup to start the trial; you will not be charged until after your third match has been delivered. The free trial is a lifetime allowance per account — not a recurring benefit. Once three matches have been delivered, the trial ends and the selected paid subscription begins automatically.

3.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions ("Gold" and "Diamond" plans) are billed monthly on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize RoleWinner to charge your payment method on file at the beginning of each billing period until you cancel.

Your subscription price and billing date are disclosed at checkout and in your account settings. Continued use of the Service after a billing date constitutes acceptance of the charge for that period.

3.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to the Service until that date and will not be charged again. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, whether you use the Service during that period or not. This policy is disclosed clearly at checkout and at the point of cancellation.

3.4 Add-On Services

Optional add-on services (including Apply For You and Interview Prep Package) are billed separately as indicated at checkout. One-time purchases are non-refundable once the service has been initiated or scheduled. Recurring add-on subscriptions follow the same cancellation terms as base subscriptions.

3.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 30 days' prior written notice to your account email address. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4.1 Nature of AI Output

THE SERVICE USES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO GENERATE JOB MATCH SCORES, RESUME DOCUMENTS, AND RELATED OUTPUTS. AI-GENERATED CONTENT IS PROBABILISTIC AND VARIABLE BY NATURE. ROLEWINNER DOES NOT WARRANT AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS THAT ANY AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, FREE OF ERROR, SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR EMPLOYER OR ROLE, OR EFFECTIVE IN SECURING AN INTERVIEW OR EMPLOYMENT OFFER.

AI outputs — including resume documents and job match scores — are generated automatically and are provided for informational and assistive purposes only. They are not professional career counseling, not legal advice, and not a guarantee of any career or employment outcome.

4.2 No Employment Guarantee

ROLEWINNER MAKES NO REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR GUARANTEE THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN ANY JOB INTERVIEW, EMPLOYMENT OFFER, OR HIRE. The Service delivers tailored resume documents and curated job match information. Whether a user applies for any matched job, whether an employer reviews or responds to any application, and whether any application results in an interview or offer is entirely outside RoleWinner's control and is not a service we provide or can guarantee.

Users accept sole responsibility for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to submit any AI-generated resume document and whether to apply for any matched position.

4.3 User Responsibility for Resume Accuracy

AI-generated resume documents are tailored versions of information provided by the user. Users are responsible for reviewing all resume content for accuracy before submitting to any employer. RoleWinner is not liable for any consequence — including lost job opportunities, employer disputes, or employment termination — arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information in an AI-generated resume document.

4.4 Third-Party Job Sources

Job listings are sourced from third-party job boards and sources outside RoleWinner's control. We do not verify the accuracy, legitimacy, or currency of any job listing. RoleWinner is not responsible for fraudulent postings, expired listings, or any inaccuracy in third-party job data.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

(a) THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

(b) ROLEWINNER'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION AND WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE — SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO ROLEWINNER IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

(c) IN NO EVENT SHALL ROLEWINNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

(d) THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO ALL CLAIMS, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON AI OUTPUT ACCURACY, JOB MATCHING RESULTS, RESUME DOCUMENT QUALITY, OR ANY FAILURE TO SECURE EMPLOYMENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Subscription fees are non-refundable. When you subscribe to RoleWinner, you are paying for access to the Service during your billing period — including the daily job scanning, AI matching, and resume tailoring infrastructure that runs on your behalf regardless of whether qualifying matches are found on any given day.

The absence of qualifying job matches on a given day or during a given billing period does not constitute a failure of service and does not entitle you to a refund. The Service scans daily and delivers matches when they meet your configured criteria and our quality threshold — match volume varies by role, location, and market conditions outside our control.

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@rolewinner.com within 14 days of the charge. We will review billing errors promptly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute before contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is pending.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information to employers
• Share, resell, or redistribute AI-generated outputs for commercial purposes beyond personal job searching
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service beyond its intended interface
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law

The Service, its software, and all non-user-supplied content are owned by RoleWinner and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. AI-generated resume documents produced using your resume data are delivered to you for your personal use. You retain ownership of the underlying resume content you provided.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or fraudulent use. You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Sections 4, 5, 6, and 10 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Prince William County, Virginia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to contact us at support@rolewinner.com and give us 30 days to attempt resolution in good faith.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email to your account address at least 30 days before the effective date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
